Training & Placement Cell.

The cell prepares students for industry well before campus drives begin — resumes, mock interviews, soft-skills training and industry exposure.

About the cell

How the cell operates.

The College has a dedicated Training & Placement Cell that invites major pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations to campus. Students are shortlisted on merit, industry requirements and their own interests; the list is forwarded to relevant industries, and candidates are assessed and interviewed on campus.

To strengthen campus placements, the college has signed MOUs with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare organisations, hospitals and research institutions. The cell is led by a full-time Placement Officer and has full audiovisual facilities for presentations, written tests, group discussions and interviews. Alongside placements, it runs programmes in personality development, communication skills, career planning, case studies and internships.

For recruiters

Directions for placements.

How the placement process works for organisations recruiting from campus.

  1. Share the placement requirement and registration form with the Placement Cell as early as possible so the process can be scheduled for everyone's convenience.
  2. On receipt of a company's job openings and job descriptions, the Placement Office collects the bio-data of interested applicants and forwards it to the organisation.
  3. The selection procedure takes place on the college campus on a mutually convenient date.
  4. Organisations announce the list of selected candidates within an agreed timeframe once selection is complete, and share the terms and conditions with the Placement Officer.
  5. Selected candidates receive appointment letters through the Placement Officer; a signed, accepted copy is returned to the organisation.
  6. The college provides Pre-Placement Talks, group discussions and interviews on campus, along with hospitality for visiting executives.
